Vanaf nu doen we het per seizoen, want na een jaar kan de beginpost niet meer aangepast worden. De beginpost lijkt me een geschikte plek voor linkjes naar regels, teams van WF'ers en online-hulp-documenten. Die moet dus regelmatig onderhouden worden. Vandaar een nieuw topic.

Belangrijkste tips voor beginners:

Ab Normaal op zaterdag 21 december 2013 om 00:08 (Oude forum)

Renners kopen. Niet meer dan 1.000 per renner uitgeven want er zijn er genoeg.
De renners die je koopt moeten minimaal een skill op 7 hebben.
Ik zou er een paar nemen met minimaal skill 7 op vlak, een paar op berg en een paar op heuvel. Die laatste zijn het moeilijkste te krijgen.
Dan zou ik ook zorgen dat iedere renner die je koopt minimaal 2 op sprint heeft, liefst al ietsje hoger.
Als je dan een aantal renners hebt moet je een trainer aanschaffen in tijdrijden. Begin skill, als je het kunt betalen, 15 anders 10.

Als eerste moet je je merchandise instellen. Verkoopprijzen zetten op 15 voor de bidon, alle andere het dubbele van de inkoopprijs.
Je moet zorgen dat je iedere zondag van lles de helft van je aantal supporters hebt.
Heb je 3000 supporters, moet je van alles 1500 in voorraad hebben.
Dit is belangrijk, want je belangrijkste bron van inkomsten.

verder moet je renners kopen, je kunt 25 renners trainen, dus je moet 25 renners hebben. Niet binnen een week, want je moet niet kopen om te kopen.
Bedenk welke skill je wilt gaan trainen straks. Berg, sprint en tt zijn de belangrijkste, dus ik zou 1 van die nemen en dan later optrainen in een andere.
De derde kun je voorlopig niet trainen.
het is belangrijk dat je dan renners koopt die een basis hebben in die derde skill.
neem je een bergtrainer en wil je daarna in tt trainen, zorg dan dat alle renners die je koopt, minimaal 2 in sprint hebben.

Koop diverse renners. geef niet meer uit dan 10.000 voor een renner. Er zijn of komen er genoeg.
Koop renners die in ieder geval minimaal 7 (specialisten) op een skill hebben, of mininmaal 4 in 3 verschillende skills (allrouners).

Zorg dat je er een paar hebt die in vlak gespecialiseerd zijn, een paar in berg en een paar in heuvels.
Combinatie skills die belngrijk zijn: vlak en sprint horen bij elkaar en berg en tijdrijden.

Kijk even naar de trainers van je concurrenten en de transfers.

Leiderschap is belangrijk voor de tactieken.

The basic premisse of the game is:
Good results (winning races) gets you money.
Money gets you good cyclists.
Good cyclists gets you good results.

Start with this:

1) Go to Training. Buy a trainer with ONLY one skill (flat, hill or mountain is a good one to start)
Buy with 10 on a skill and then train our trainer till at least 15 (19 if you can afford it).
Set training for all your cyclists at the chosen skill (you can train up to 25 at 100% efficiency)

2) Go to supporters. Set the following prices:
Biddon 15, cap 20, Sportsbag 40, T-shirt 30. Half of your supporters will buy all four merchandise for these prices during the weekly update (Sunday 20.00 CET).
Buy enough merchandise to sell all of them. So if you have 2000 supporters after the Sunday race, you need at least 1000 of every item for maximum profit.

3) Go to transfers. Using the search function, search for cyclists with at least 7 in a primary skill, at least 25 in all primary skills. Don’t pay more than 10k. The younger the better, but age 30+ is ok for now, they are the easiest to get for a cheap price.
High secondary skills is a bonus, but try also to get some cyclists with leadership 5 or higher.

4) Go to Calendar. Go to Tactics, Change, and select 5 cyclists for the next race.
The cyclist with the highest number on leadership should be the leader (tactic points = 3 + LS of leader).
Your best cyclist (or best two cyclists) on the terrain should be attackers (e.g. in a mountain race, choose an attacker with high mountain). Attack at the first attack point and some attack points later (try to find out yourself what works).
Races are every day (except Monday) at 13.00 CET. Watch the race reports, it’s fun.

For now, this is enough. Don’t buy a youth scout; not worth the money. When you have over 25 cyclists, get rid of the bad ones.
